Goat rennet – Has its active enzymes extracted from Kid Goat. This primarily allowing for greater flavor development in dairy products. Available in a strength of 500 IMCU’s (International Milk Clotting Unit). Goat rennet suitable for all types of cheese making, as well as desserts such as junket.

Goat rennet is made up of the following:
primarliy 80% chymosin with the remander being 20% pepsin

Produced in the EU Goat rennet. Is firstly and most importantly GM free, secondly the 50g sachect is a helpful format for those making smaller volumes.
Rennet Usage:
With an Industry standard sought after by most cheese makers both here and on the continent. Our rennet’s IMCU (international milk clotting units) of 500 means that, primarily 1g of rennet will colt five litre’s of cows milk. Secondly just 0.25g are needed for volumes up to a litre of cows milk. Please drop us a message if you require further help.
