This mild kefir yogurt culture with its milder and less tart finish then our classic style & thickness similar to that of a natural yogurt, It’s simple & easy to use with Country Kitchen Cultures. We keep to a “clean label” standard meaning there’s nothing but culture and spot of milk powder added, all our cultures are GMO free as well as being suitable for vegetarians. Country Kitchen Cultures are produced in the UK.

Our cultures are a blend of:

  • Streptococcus thermophilus.
  • Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis.
  • Lactococcus lactis subsp. cremoris.
  • Leuconostoc mesenteroides subsp.cremoris.
  • Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis biovar diacetylactis.
  • Kluyveromyces marxianus subsp. marxianus.
  • Debaryomyces hansenii

Looking to create a the classic “drinking style” Kefir, Kosher orĀ  we recommend using our Direct vat culture which can be found on the link below.

It’s so simple to use:

  • Add contents of sachet to your choice of milk (We recommend UHT).
  • Fill yogurt maker with hot water (as per there instructions).
  • Add inner pot and wait.
